Description

My qualifications
In the 1980s I attended and graduated from the prestigious Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City. Within three years I reached the position of Executive Secretary. During the 1990s the position of secretary gradually disappeared and evolved into the position of administrative assistant. In the 1990s I worked at volunteer positions writing and editing newsletters and wrote non-fiction magazine articles. From 2002 through 2010 I worked as an administrative assistant and wrote my own correspondence; wrote and edited an estimated 15 state and federal grant applications (the majority of which were successful); wrote press releases; and, wrote and edited a vast array of business documents. I have 30 years of writing and editing experience in the business, non-profit, and volunteer fields.

Adirondack Editing offers professional copy editing and proofreading, manuscript evaluation, and author mentoring for your fiction or non-fiction manuscript in English. Editing also for grants, term papers or theses (no factual checking available). Secure, confidential, and no obligation.
