Company Name

Debbie Curtis Writer & Editor

I have a background in Animal Science, but took as many writing classes at Cornell as my science classes allowed. I am currently the writer/editor of a community magazine published by N2 publications. Unfortunately, I signed a confidentiality agreement when I accepted the job. Therefore, I can’t disclose the name of the magazine, or put any of the nearly 100 articles I’ve written or edited since November 2014 on my website.
Besides writing for the above magazine, I have also written for the Ithaca Times, The Ovid Gazette, and other local newspapers. I have a background in health and science, too. Besides a degree from Cornell in Animal Science, I have been a pharmacy technician, EMT, and ridden along on ambulatory calls with veterinarians.
I have taken many classes in how to write White Papers, Customer Case Studies, Content Marketing, and Article Writing. I’m eager to get my freelance writing business more clients and move from part-time to full-time writing.
I am easy to work with, creative, able to translate complex subject matter into simpler language, and I’ll always deliver on time. My background in fiction writing and my degree from Cornell in Animal Science give me a great background for freelancing. I have newspaper and magazine clips, and am freelancing in B2B, health copywriting, ghostwriting, and customer case studies, among other sales related material. Contact me:
