Jeff Simons is a former Associated Press reporter with more than 30 years experience as a journalist and technical report writer. In addition to his professional writing experience, Jeff is an Associate Adjunct Professor with the University of Maryland’s distance education program. Over the past three decades Jeff has published articles on a broad range of topics including environmental engineering, music, art, film, travel, crime, poverty, and politics. In addition, Jeff also co-wrote several high school textbooks during his tenure as a content editor with an Ohio educational publishing company. As a journalist and professor, Jeff has lived and worked in Japan, Okinawa, South Korea, and throughout the United States. Much of his travel writing has been inspired by his adventures in the U.S. Southwest and Central and South America. Jeff lives with his wife Amanda and their beloved dog Ellie in Yellow Springs, Ohio.Years of Experience: 10+
